Local Parks

As part of their My World Challenge Award, our Cubs have been reviewing the outdoor leisure facilities in our area.

The Cubs suggested their favourite parks and playgrounds and then discussed the activities they enjoy doing there, the facilities at each location and what they'd do to improve the parks.

We hope this will be useful to other local families.

What Improvements Would Our Cubs Like

• More rubbish bins and dog bins at Bolehills Park
• More toilets at parks - open all day/evening
• Dog obstacle course at Endcliffe Park
• Football nets on goal posts in parks. Also fences behind goals to stop balls.
• Safe areas in parks with no glass or cans
• Bring back Park Patrol to stop people littering and leaving dog mess
